Gambit Corporate Finance has acted as lead financial advisor to Spectra Group (UK) Limited

Gambit Corporate Finance  has acted as lead financial advisor to Spectra Group (UK) Limited, in securing a new funding facility to support its continued growth. It is a continuation of Gambit’s involvement and relationship with Spectra, previously advising on its original funding with NatWest and wider strategic support.

Spectra is a leading global provider of tactical and strategic mission-critical communications systems and high-grade information security and network capabilities. Working within the defence & security sector, Spectra specialises in delivering comprehensive, robust and reliable solutions to create secure communication networks in the most austere environments. Spectra’s award-winning SlingShot and next generation Troposcatter products provide users with an effective and straightforward way to achieve secure and tactical communications.

The Company is looking to continue its trajectory following a period of impressive growth. The additional funding is targeted for organic growth and investment in new product development to take advantage of Spectra’s trusted reputation in the market and experience in delivering mission critical solutions.

The Gambit team was led by Jason Evans (Partner) and Sam Forman (Director) who were responsible for structuring, negotiating the terms and advising the company throughout the process of securing the new facility.

The facility will be provided by NatWest’s Corporate Banking Team. The NatWest team was led by Gemma Yorke (Head of TMT) and Martyn Prosser (Credit Delivery Director).
