Gambit Corporate Finance acted as lead advisor to Outsource UK on its acquisition of RZ Group.
Founded by Paul Jameson in 1991, Outsource UK is one of the largest independent recruitment companies in the UK. It specialises in supplying highly-skilled contract and permanent talent in technology, change and engineering roles to clients across many sectors including financial services, defence, engineering, cyber security, logistics and supply chain and the public sector.
Its acquisition of RZ Group will create a group with revenues in excess of £100 million, providing contract and permanent recruitment solutions to an enviable blue-chip client base.
RZ Group (formerly Recruitment Zone) was founded in 1998 by David Bedford, Andy Barton and Lisa Kwiecinska and provides complete staffing solutions within the finance, technology, oil and gas and engineering sectors. With offices in Edinburgh and Bolton, the acquisition of RZ Group will expand Outsource UK’s geographic coverage adding to its five existing locations in Swindon, Manchester, Stoke-on-Trent, Birmingham and London.

The value and terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Gambit provided strategic and financial advisory services to Outsource UK, led the commercial negotiations and managed the due diligence and legal process. The Gambit team comprised Geraint Rowe, Simon Marsden and Sam Forman.
