Cwmtillery Glass Centre (CGC), one of the UK’s largest independent manufacturers of insulated glass units and toughened glass has been sold in a multi-million pound transaction.
Led by husband & wife duo, Paul and Cerianne Hayward, CGC has built a “best in class” market-leading reputation for exceptional quality of product and customer service, underpinned by serial investments in state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and long-standing relationships with blue-chip suppliers including Pilkington and Guardian.
The business was founded by Managing Director, Paul Hayward in 1996 with just a single cutting table, and has since evolved into a £15m+ revenue company, employing some 120 staff and operating from a 100,000 sq. ft manufacturing facility in South Wales.
Supplying the trade, domestic, commercial and new build sectors CGC produces over 21,000 sealed units per week and has consistently enjoyed year-on-year growth.
