Gambit Corporate Finance has been recognised as the ‘Corporate Finance Team of the Year’ at the 2019 Finance Awards Wales.

The team enjoyed a successful 2018, advising on eight transactions with a cumulative deal value in excess of £150 million. Notable transactions included the £63 million sale of Orangebox to NYSE listed Steelcase Inc, the sale of Ultrapharm to Finsbury Food Group Plc for £25 million and the sale of Cool-Therm to Carver Group.

The firm has made a strong start to 2019 and has completed six deals during the first four months, including a range of sale, acquisition and fundraising transactions.

Gambit has continued to enhance its service offering in recent years with Jason Evans leading the firm’s Debt Advisory services and Jamie Kennell providing private equity expertise. Supported by a strong pipeline of committed deal flow, the team is optimistic about 2019 and aims to further improve on its achievements in recent years.

Geraint Rowe, Partner said, “It is a huge privilege for Gambit to receive the Corporate Finance Team of the Year award in its inaugural year.
