Gambit Acts as Lead Adviser to Reducate EdTech Group on its Acquisition of Oxford Medical Training
Reducate EdTech Group (“Reducate”), a European leader in the provision of Online Continuing Professional Education (“e-CPE”) has acquired Oxford Medical Training (“Oxford Medical”), a UK leader in the provision of online training programs and courses for doctors.
Established in 1999, Reducate offers e-CPE accredited courses across more than 40 different professions via 12 highly reputable brands throughout four European countries, serving over 175,000 professionals. Reducate’s suite of over 2,500 courses offer up-to-date knowledge and skills for highly critical sectors, including Medical, Legal, Financial, Government, Transport and Logistics and School and Childcare.
Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Edinburgh, Oxford Medical offers a diverse range of online programs and courses, speciaising in professional skills development for doctors. Oxford Medical’s courses are independently assessed and validated with Continuing Professional Development (“CPD”) certificates, and its leadership programs are accredited by the Faculty of Medical Leadership Management (“FMLM”).
Reducate’s acquisition of Oxford Medical marks a key acquisition as part of its ongoing European buy-and-build strategy and its first transaction in the UK market. The acquisition enables Reducate to strengthen its brand across Europe, further enhancing the breadth of its offering within the medical eCPE market.
