Gambit Corporate Finance Advises Premier Forest Products on Several Acquisition from National Timber Group
Gambit Corporate Finance is delighted to announce that it has acted as the lead financial advisor to Premier Forest Products (“Premier Forest”) on its strategic acquisitions of National Timber Systems (NTS) and several key assets from the administrators of National Timber Group.
The transactions mark a significant milestone in Premier Forest’s ambitious growth strategy, rescuing the engineered timber specialist and former Arnold Laver distribution branches from administration and safeguarding over 210 jobs across the UK in the process. The deal includes NTS’s high-tech manufacturing operations in Bristol, Newcastle, and Catterick, alongside the strategic acquisition of former Arnold Laver branches in Manchester, Reading and Hull.
National Timber Systems is a market leader in engineered wood products, supplying national housebuilders and the modular construction sector with innovative solutions like the BBA-accredited NTSROOF® system, roof trusses, and floor cassettes.
By integrating NTS, Premier Forest significantly enhances its vertical integration and technical capabilities. The move complements Premier’s existing Mon Timber Engineering division, creating one of the most robust timber engineering offerings in the UK.
As part of its long-term strategy to build a sustainable, UK-wide network, Premier Forest successfully acquired the operations of former Arnold Laver branches in Manchester, Reading, and Hull.
