Gambit Corporate Finance LLP celebrated a record breaking year in 2024/25. This was recognised by Insider Magazine at The Insider Wales Dealmakers Awards held in Cardiff on 25 September.
The acquisition of a majority stake in Nodor International by Inflexion Private Equity was awarded the 2025 Deal of the Year. Gambit was the lead advisor on the transaction involving the world’s leading dart equipment brand. There was significant competition in the category from a number of notable deals in the year, but the judges recognised the landmark nature of the transaction in the Welsh marketplace and the role that Gambit played in initiating, managing and executing the transaction.
The firm was also recognised as the Corporate Finance Advisory Team of the Year. The firm delivered a record year in terms of deal volume and value and was recognised not only for both the high profile transactions executed but quality of its client base and the relationships generated by the firm.
The most prestigious award, the 2025 Dealmaker of the Year, was awarded to Sam Forman. Insider magazine and the judges noted that Sam’s career progression has been “remarkable”. He received the Emerging Dealmaker of the Year award in 2023 and became a Partner in the firm in 2024. The 2025 Dealmaker of the Year award recognises Sam’s achievements in the year and the substantial value he adds to clients.
